Is OakMD a real medical provider? OakMD is a telemedicine platform staffed by licensed medical providers. All treatment decisions are made by licensed physicians or advanced practice providers.

Is OakMD HIPAA compliant? Yes. All data transmission and storage on the OakMD platform is HIPAA compliant. Your health information is encrypted and never shared without your explicit consent.

The Process

How do I get started? Choose a treatment category, click the relevant CTA (e.g., "Start TRT Evaluation"), and complete your online intake form. A provider will review your information and follow up.

How long does provider review take? Most intakes are reviewed within 24–48 hours. You'll receive a notification when your review is complete.

Do I need to come in person? No. OakMD is fully online. All consultations, reviews, and follow-ups are conducted digitally.

Treatments

Are treatments guaranteed? No. Treatment is only issued when a licensed provider determines it is clinically appropriate based on your individual health profile. Not all patients are candidates for every treatment.

Can I get a prescription directly? Prescriptions are issued only after provider review. There are no instant or automatic prescriptions issued through OakMD.

Pricing & Insurance

How much does treatment cost? Pricing varies by treatment category and program. You'll receive complete pricing information during the intake process before any commitment is made.

Does OakMD accept insurance? OakMD is a direct-pay platform. We don't bill insurance, but we can provide documentation for HSA/FSA reimbursement.

Privacy

Who sees my health information? Only your assigned licensed provider and OakMD's clinical staff have access to your health information. We never sell or share your data.

Can I delete my account? Yes. Contact care@getoakmd.com with a deletion request and we will process it in accordance with applicable regulations.
