OakMD is not an automated prescription service. Every patient intake is reviewed by a licensed medical professional who evaluates your health history, symptoms, lab results (where applicable), and treatment goals before making any clinical determination.

Our providers are licensed physicians and advanced practice providers with experience in:

The Clinical Review Process

1. Intake submission — you complete your online health questionnaire
2. Provider assignment — a qualified provider in your relevant specialty is assigned
3. Clinical review — your provider evaluates your information against established clinical criteria
4. Determination — the provider determines whether treatment is appropriate, requests additional information, or declines to prescribe
5. Ongoing oversight — your provider remains involved in your care for follow-ups and adjustments

Standards of Care

OakMD providers follow established clinical guidelines for each treatment category. Treatment decisions are individualized and evidence-informed. We do not operate on a one-size-fits-all approach.
